I would like to hear more of your thoughts on what it means to be highly favored of the Lord, why it seemed that Jared thought his brother’s prayers would be more efficacious than his own, and what implications that may have for us in our own lives.
Gents!! You did exactly what the story was meant for…. find entertainment value (which you did), enhance the plot (which you did), and categorize it as a romance thriller (which you did with Jordan’s alternative ending). I just had the skeleton plot idea. I need meat on the bones (wittier smart and funny dialog, more characters, create the world of MexiCAMerica, etc.). You were into something trying to make it better!! My job was to bring the idea to life and have others do what they do best…carry it to the finish line. Hey, I’m a businessman in Hollywood 😉 I have two great and fun actors which will guarantee more tickets sold at the box office or views on a top streaming platform (I have to make sure that the script is difficult to turn down, so I need help $$$$$). I have seen Sicario. However, the idea of sealed body bags was mainly to avoid the stench of decaying human bodies which could have been an instant red flag for anyone who stepped in the house.. Too soon for the movie to end. I could have done human bones but that meant that the disappearances would have happened too long ago. I wanted it to be fresh as to intensify the hunt. I enjoyed how you read it. I was entertained! To quote Maximus Decimus Meridius…Are you not entertained? 🙂

I don’t fault you for not knowing Danny Elfman as their lead singer. You more than made up for that omission by your segue of “Dead Man’s Party” lyrics into Bobby’s dream.
On the topic of music, I picked up on your allusion to Rage Against the Machine’s “Testify”: “Who controls the past (now), controls the future. Who controls the present (now), controls the past.” That might make a good premise for a book, after you complete your movie idea.
