Ukraine doesn’t even that minerals rich, so it’s kind of a crappy mineral deal, in my opinion. On top of that, in a mineral deal, we would have to provide security to ensure that our minerals and personnel are protected. This would be NATO adjacent.
Russia will not stand for that. We already have us companies like Monsanto and Cargill, who own land there in the Bread Basket of Ukraine, so we are just doing their bidding for their interests.
