Trump isn’t sincere with spending cuts. He demanded that the CR be passed, which put funding back into things DOGE found to cut, like USAID. He’s turning out to be almost as bad as his first term. He’s not really that serious.

That was my main complaint about government and the church during COVID; that they were pushing lockdowns and masks and then the shots, but no mention of being healthy: eating healthy and being active (and priesthood blessings on the side of the church; in fact there’s an article that I found where missionaries were forbidden from giving blessings during covid).
