Neglegent discharge or no, they must positively identify a threat. They didn’t. They killed someone (a struggling idiot) who didn’t brandish or fire at them. For all they knew, any shot they heard could have come from another protester next to them. We wouldn’t be cheering or giving a pass if it was the ATF shooting a conservative protester, even if they deserved to be detained.

The problem with all this is that going above and beyond with force that leads to accidental or wrongful deaths with these leftist morons (and cheering of these deaths, right or wrongful, by the Right) will lead to a crack back by the Left. When the pendulum swings the other direction, there’ll be more ATF and Lavoy Finicum situations, and probably speech will be restricted as well.

Everyone has forgotten all about the Somali fraud in MN with the ICE stuff being a distraction.
