Episode 275 – Times of the Gentiles

Two years ago I played Fallout 4 after hearing Bobby’s recommendation on the podcast. While Red Dead Redemption 2 seems to be a topic on most episodes that I’ve listened to, I have yet to play it. I can now say that I own the game and intend to give it a try in the near future. Perhaps it will be as enthralling as Fallout 4.

It seems that I missed a recent appeal for topics of interest. As Jordan has pointed out before, I do enjoy music. I haven’t heard any discussion about music for quite a while. However, I have many varied interests.

Movie reviews can be interesting, especially recommendations about movies to watch. Incidentally, the last two movies I’ve watched in the theater are “Mercy” and “Hoppers.” I found both entertaining and enjoyable.

This episode gets a pair of theme songs, list songs noting significant cultural, political, and other historical events. Most are probably quite familiar with the first. The latter is an “updated” cover.

As an endowment, RDR2 is best experienced firsthand. But you can learn a lot by watching. Bigger question: given the tools we now have as coders to write code, we should consider writing our own video game endowment. Seriously.
