He says the gist of comeuntochrist.org and their PR messaging is ‘if you just join us, everything will be great and you’ll love it. This church works for all types of people.’ That isn’t Christianity. That’s just a corporate bumper sticker. They have put out a people centered message instead of a mission centered message.
We welcome people, but the problem is that the meat never comes. That’s why some of these LDS podcasts where they delve into deeper topics are so popular, where deep, meaningful things are actually talked about. We have the scriptures, but most of the stuff is just shallow, platitudinous weak sauce.
We don’t have a real identity as a church anymore, so the brilliant idea from the church’s PR department is to highlight every member who doesn’t fit the typical mold. That will surely help us find us our identity as LDS.
And then goes on to discuss the latest church spotlight post and culture war within the church.
Good argument between the two around 59 minutes about lack of programs for men/youth, including a “why is it hard to say our leadership sucks (on this issue)?”

Sorry to disappoint you, Publius. However, I’m not the acronym’s creator. I found it on a website for a group going for thoroughness, ridiculousness, or perhaps another objective.
The most obvious and intentional omission for completeness in all of these LGBT*-acronyms is “heterosexual.” There are likely some who would demand inclusion of “looner” and “agalmatosexual.”
Innumerable sexual orientations and kinks are not directly represented in the list… the limit goes beyond the sky, I’m afraid. That’s what the “+” sign is for.
