Apologies for my pre-listen Fauci adjacent joke.

Sorry to hear about all that, Jordan. I hope all goes well with you and your family, and I will keep you all in my prayers today.
My wife and I are also experiencing some loss the last couple years, where she lost her stepdad 2 years ago and her mom suddenly a month ago, and she’s left dealing with the whole estate all on her own. She basically has zero family, left except a dad that she is only recently reconnected with. And then I have my grandfather, who is in the hospital in Ogden right now, after falling and hitting his head, getting a brain bleed. Our hearts and minds are definitely heavy the last few months.
God is full of mercy, love and grace. He allowed my mother-in-law some extra time in the hospital so that my wife was able to spend some much needed time with her mother before she passed on to resolve a couple things as best she could. It wasn’t perfect, because they were some messes that we have still to clean up with the estate, but it was enough for her and she was able to feel her love and God’s love.

I hope neither of you feel like you must do a podcast every week. If you need a break take a break. This is an important topic and it does resonate with me and there are some things that I need to work on for myself. Thank you for your thoughts. Ponderizings, perhaps?

Your Lord of the Rings reference is indeed Galadriel. “Your quest stands upon the edge of a knife,” when the Fellowship sans Gandalf, arrive at Caras Galadhon.

My life so far has been like a fart: a little bit funny, feels great sometimes, but it also stinks.

So Whisker is a fellow libertarian eh.
