    July 2nd, the Lee Resolution, is what the Declaration of Independence is derived from, and is the actual day of our independence. That day, the Founders voted to become free from Great Britain. The Declaration of Independence is the letter sent out to the world, telling what they had done 2 days prior.

    Our culture used to be a melting pot of people with the ideals of liberty, small government, and just leave me alone to live my life, and now it’s becoming entitlement, gimme gimme gimme government, and take care of me in all stages of life, and of course force people to do stuff for me.
