Thank you for the source. I’ve seen that fast before, but didn’t know it was around anything like that. I had thought I heard on of you say something about a media fast around the SEC stuff, but clearly I wasn’t listening close enough.

Also in the Declaration of Independence, Jefferson mentions United Kingdom as a capital S state, so the colonies, now States, were equal and sovereign to the United Kingdom and other countries.
The Declaration is just the letter sent out notifying the UK of their actions of two days prior, on July 2nd, the Lee Resolution, which is the actual day of independence, when those Founders took the legal action to break away from the UK through their votes to become independent.
